Zendaya Drops Out Of Aaliyah Biopic

After all the uproar about Aaliyah's Lifetime movie, it appears as if the biopic is not going to air as planned. Disney actress Zendaya is no longer willing to portray  Aaliyah in an upcoming film for  Lifetime. Zendaya claims the production is being rushed on the project. Plus Aaliyah's family is still not on board with the project. Until further notice the  production is currently on hold.

Today marks the name of the famous freestyle off oDJ Screw’s 1996 tape June 27th. DJ Screw  recorded the freestyle in honor of his friend D-Mo’s birthday. This track has gone down in history as one of the best Houston hip-hop recordings ever. This track gives people the insight of the  Southern style of rapping.

Screw is more than music it is a life style. Muddy  sprites, candy cars, chopped up and slowed music, and so much more. For June 27th to still be relevant 18 years later is a huge deal for the late great DJ Screw. With artist like Drake and many more sampling the record will forever keep Screw alive.


The instrumental sampled and chopped up by DJ Screw is that of Kris Kross' Da Streets Ain’t Right which samples Biggie’s Warning. Stream the full June 27th freestyle below.

Looks as if Alexandria's  Mayor Jacques Roy needs a helping hand from Olivia Pope. A few days ago News Channel 5 release the story Mayor Roy has a secret love child in Lafayette, Louisiana, political mudslinging at it's finest.

Election time is right around the corner and rumor mills have begun to churn. An anonymous letter about Mayor Roy has been sent out to various media outlets. The letter contains information about the Mayor conceiving a child with a woman outside of his marriage. Mayor Roy says the allegations are false.

This story comes to no surprise. Various Mayors, Senators, Governors, Council Members and more have been caught up in scandals. Kalenna opens up about her secret love affair with her best friend, Kirk and Rahseeda romp in the sheets, and Joseline confronts Thi Thi. Lady Gaga video was too controversial

Lady Gaga chose not to release her video with R. Kelly to avoid any backlash. The video for  Do What U Want featuring R Kelly was shot last September, where R Kelly portrays a doctor who takes advantage of his patient (Gaga). There is an appearance from director Terry Richardson, who was accused of sexual misconduct by several models.

Boosie also sits down with DJ Skee and reflects on his prison sentence and how time in jail changed his life. Boosie says,

Last night's episode of  Love and Hip Hop Atlanta had a hint of positivity. Deb Antney finally spoke on the loss of her son, KayO Redd. KayO took his own life last year due to cyberbulling. Deb is putting together a campaign No R.I.P (Reckless. Internet. Posting.)


Even though there was a positive message, the episode was still filled with the usual ratchetness. Love & Hip Hop Star Stevie J Busted for Owing A MIllion Dollars in Child Support

Well Nikko may have been right about Stevie J. Love and Hip Hop Atlanta reality star Stevie J is in debt for $1 million. The debt is for child support. Stevie J took that long walk of shame this morning from his front door to the police car. He was arrested for non payment of child support.

Halle Berry ORDERED To Pay $16K A Month In Child Support

In recent child support news, Halle Berry has been ordered to pay $16,000 a month. The child support order comes after Halle and Gabriel's  initial custody agreement in 2012 after the infamous fight with Oliver Martinez, Halle's husband.

The slander is real in these internet streets towards Lebron James. The NBA Finals game one was off to a start last night with  thoughts of can the Spurs  beat the Heat. Well the Spurs held their own and wonk 110-95. But the playing conditions were intense. The players were playing in 90 degree temperature. During these trying times, preachers are doing what they can to convey their messages from God to their audience. In order to reach the younger generation and grasp their attention some feel they need to speak on their level. Examples are the gospel version of Drunk In Love and Catch phrase "Do It For the Vine" has been turned into "Do It For the Lord".

Maryland Pastor Jamal Bryant went a step further. In his sermon titled I'm My Enemies Worst Nightmare  he quotes Chris Brown by saying ‘These Hoes Ain’t Loyal’ during  the sermon.  Bryant took to twitter to express his thoughts.
