Ex-New Orleans mayor Ray Nagin sentenced to 10 years

New Orleans ex Mayor Ray Nagin survived Hurricane Katrina but he did not survive his sentencing. Nagin has been caught up in fraudulent spending before and after Hurricane Katrina. He faced 12 to 30 years in prison but only received 10.

USA Today reports;

Jurassic Park Film Takes Over Abandoned Theme Park in New Orleans

The new Jurassic Park movie will shoot in New Orleans' abandonned Six Flags theme park. The production will take over the site just outside the city next week. The Six Flags theme park has been closed right before Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

Everything was not all good for Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan, Two people were shot and killed outside the tourist attraction Mardi Gras World following his Fat Tuesday show. A third man was also shot and injured inside the venue.
