Solange Knowles Speaks Out On Jay Z Elevator Fight

Solange has finally opened up about #CarterGate, the incident between her and Jay Z on the elevators. Solange had a sit down interview with Lucky magazine for their August issue and says;

What’s important is that my family and I are all good.What we had to say collectively was in the statement that we put out, and we all feel at peace with that.

If you remember, Solange released a fit of rage upon her brother in law, Jay Z, on an elevator at The Standard Hotel. Once the security cam footage leaked, it immediately went viral. The rumor mill has not stopped churning with thoughts about that evening.

Saturday Night Live Spoofs Jay Z & Solange Elevator Fight [VIDEO]

Saturday Night live is known for pushing the bar and making witty banter about the issues going on in the world today. Well this past weekend the opening skit was dedicated to Carter Gate 2K14, as I like to call it. Jay Z and Solange, played by Jay Pharoah and Sasheer Zamata , are seated together giving a statement regarding the elevator incident. Kenan Thompson portrays the body guard and Maya Rudolph graces the stage as Queen Bey.
