Jeremih - No More EP Review

Every week expect a review of your favorite music. My opinions are real and how I feel. Being a reader you may or may not agree with my thoughts in their rawest form. This week on the chopping block is recording artist Jeremih, No More EP.

Jeremih unleashed his collaborative project with producer "Shlohmo", No More EP. The 6 track EP's only feature come from Chance The Rapper.

In my opinion Jeremih's mixtape, not an EP, lacks effort. The beats are decent but lyrical the mixtape is poorly done. His sub-par singing makes me wonder if  Birthday Sex was the high point of Jeremih's career. As an avid music listener I am still not convinced  he even likes music.  I question Jeremih's efforts and cause for this project. Out of the six track Bo Peep is the stand out record, the only song that comes close to an eargasm.   Stream the project below. What are your thoughts? I want to hear your opinions.

106 & Park served as the platform for the 2014 XXL Freshmen Cover announcement. This years artist are referred to as The Dirty Dozen. These artist have been creating a buzz, putting in work and now it all pays off.

In alphabetical order, they are August Alsina [New Orleans], Chance the Rapper[Chicago], Isaiah Rashad [Chattanooga], Jarren Benton [Decatur], Jon Connor [Flint], Kevin Gates [Baton Rouge], Lil Bibby [Chicago], Lil Durk [Chicago], Rich Homie Quan [Atlanta], Troy Ave [Brooklyn], Ty Dolla $ign [Los Angeles] and Vic Mensa [Chicago].

Being I am from Louisiana, seeing Kevin Gates and August Alsina make the cover is a proud moment. I've been following their careers from the beginning.

Coachella Music Festival, Chance the Rapper Hospitalized

The Coachella music festival continued this weekend in California. Performers included Pharrell Williams, Jay Z, T.I, Usher, Pusha T, Busta Rhymes, Nas, Lauryn Hill and Damian Marley. Chance the Rapper was hospitalized this weekend and had to bow out.

SZA releases another single featuring Chance the Rapper Childs Play, which will be featured on Sza's upcoming EP Z. The XXYYXX & Dae One Mixed by Dae One and Derek "MixedByAli" Ali  produced track paints a vivid picture of child hood memories.

Chance raps:

Keys open doors when them keys are albino
Now knock on my door when my stars is align-o
I've been finishing for a minute for a minnow
Only I know that a pawn is a trade
And a rookie for a castle like tuition for a final.

The most unique part about this smooth hypnotizing track is towards the end of Chance's verse the two sing in unison.   Z  is set to be releases April 8th. Stream the track below. What are your thoughts?
