Ab-Soul - Tree of Life

TDE is not playing any games in 2014. With releases from Isaiah Rashad, ScHoolBoy Q and SZA, they prepare to release Ab-Soul's project next. Ab-Soul drops his latest single Tree of Life.


The Curtiss King produced track will be featured on Soul's upcoming project Long Term 3

#ATruLadyApproved "Childs Play" - SZA feat. Chance The Rapper

SZA releases another single featuring Chance the Rapper Childs Play, which will be featured on Sza's upcoming EP Z. The XXYYXX & Dae One Mixed by Dae One and Derek "MixedByAli" Ali  produced track paints a vivid picture of child hood memories.

Chance raps:

Keys open doors when them keys are albino
Now knock on my door when my stars is align-o
I've been finishing for a minute for a minnow
Only I know that a pawn is a trade
And a rookie for a castle like tuition for a final.

The most unique part about this smooth hypnotizing track is towards the end of Chance's verse the two sing in unison.   Z  is set to be releases April 8th. Stream the track below. What are your thoughts?

Babylon - SZA

TDE's song bird SZA release a new visual for her song Babylon. As intriguing as Sza is as an artist, the video is just the same.

Co- directed by SZA and APLUSFILMZ, the video goes into deep detail about Sza emereging herself into the water. If you have ever checked out any of Sza's other videos mother nature and water are always included in her treatments. She sings an interesting story, which the video brings to life. The DJ Dahi produced track will be featured on Sza's debut EP Z . Z is due to release April 8th. Are you curious as to what this project will sound like?

Lupe Fiasco ft. Ab Soul – "Thorns & Horns"

Lupe Fiasco has been in a giving mood to all his fans lately. He hits the internet with a new track featuring TDE's own Ab Soul, Thorns & Horns. Not too shocked by this hot collab. You have to listen to these lyrical assassins cause their is some layers to this track filled with metaphors and some references that make you think. TDE and Wu-Tang connect by the way of SchoolBoy Q and Raekwon on Q's latest track Blind Threats. A story is told on this track, Q and Raekwon reflects on trying times,

Man Of The Year - SchoolBoy Q [VIDEO]

Schoolbot Q has released the visuals for his single Man of the Year.

Now ScHoolboy Q recently tweeted that all the music we've heard from him  will not appear on his album Oxymoron.

TDE CEO Calls Kendrick Lamar's GQ Cover Story 'Disrespectful' & GQ Responds

Last week Kendrick Lamar was awarded a huge honor as one of 2013's Men Of The Year. Even though K Dot was all suit and tie fly, TDE Ceo was not pleased with the visual the article created.

In a statement released to the press, Top Dawg Entertainment CEO Anthony "Top Dawg" says,

Ab-Soul & Joey Bada$$ Arrested In St. Louis

Chris Brown was not the one  in trouble with the police , Ab- Soul and Joey Bada$$ were arrested Monday night.

The Smokers Club Tour stoppin in St. Louis Monday night, when  Ab-Soul, Joey Badas$$, and a few members of the Pro Era crew were arrested after the show.

 A known factor about the BET Hip Hop Awards is the hip hop cyphers are the only reason most people

watch. This year there was so much anticipation around the cyphers due to Kendrick Lamar verse leaks, rumors of Lil Kim making an appeareance, and so much more.

In my opinion, this year's  line-up was a beast.With rhymes Slaughterhouse, TDE, ASAP Mob, Action Bronson, Travis Scott, Jon Conner, Lil Kim, and many more the lyrical bars were non stop.

SZA - Teen Spirit 10/14

TDE's first lady, SZA, finally gives us a visual for her new single "Teen Spirit," produced by Wondagurl. SZA "Teen Spirit" tells a story of peer pressure and other things a teenage girl experiences inside of a large, deserted house.

SZA co-directed the treatment with APLUSFILMZ and she says,

If you follow me on Twitter, you know I'm a sound cloud junkie. A week ago I stumbled across Isaiah Rashad music and instantly began to vibe. Top Dawg Entertainment announces Isaiah Rashad is the newest member to join the team.

Kendrick Lamar has made a big leap as his major label debut, “Good Kid, m.A.A.d City,” has been certified platinum. The album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums last November and #2 on the Top 200. It pushed 241,000 copies its first week. Listen to the stream below
