I could go into a whole spill about where I've been but then I'll end up on my soapbox, so let's just pass on that!

Now on to the fashion...

We officially have 14 days until the fall season begins. Now for us southerners, the weather doesn't always agree with the calendar dates. However, if you stay ready, you don't have to get ready. So cliché! I don't know about you, but I am more than over this hot weather and geared up for cuffing season , I mean sweater weather (hehe). Focus on transitional pieces this season, those styles that can go from day to night with an accessory change and little effort. While prepping your closet for additions to your fall wardrobe, consider these basic staples to carry you through the fall and into the winter.

Being an avid lover of statement jewelry, I never thought I would fall into the stacked jewelry trend. These simple staples have pulled on my heart strings. But the best incentive, they are very inexpensive. These Forever21 styles are all under ten bucks. Do I really have to say more?
