The Carters just don't know how to spend money but they know how to give a little back to the community.
Every April 1st, high school students students preparing for college, can apply for Jay Z's Shawn Carter Foundation Scholarship.
The Scholarship provides financial aid to under-served and underprivileged students who may not be eligible for other scholarships.
Gloria Carter, Jay Z's mother and foundation director,says,
The underserved have so many problems. Sometimes they need someone to give them a hand.
