The Boondocks Season 4 Episode 3

The highly anticpated 4th season of The Boondocks made it's way to television last week.  All your favorites returned; Huey, Riley, Granddad, and Uncle Ruckus.

In last night's episode, Breaking Grandad, following the plot line of hit series Breaking Bad. Huey creates an explosive chemical but tells Granddad it is actually wave grease. Once Grandad uses the "wave grease", it makes his hair grow over night. The trio markets the "wave grease" and puts it on sale in the beauty shop. 

In my opinion the episode  is really about how superficial African American can be at times. Caught in looks and appearances. Do you agree? Stream the episode below. What are your thoughts?

The Boondocks Season 4 Episode 2

The highly anticpated 4th season of The Boondocks made it's way to television last week.  All your favorites returned; Huey, Riley, Granddad, and Uncle Ruckus.

In last night's episode, Good Times, Granddad owes millions to Eddie Wuncler, who has his own ideas about how he wants to be paid. Granddad eventually sells himself back into slavery.

If you really pay attention, the episode hints at how African American's are trapped financially, living above our means, pay check loans, etc. Stream the episode below. What are your thoughts?

The Boondocks return to Adult Swim

The highly anticpated 4th season of The Boondocks made it's way to television last night (April 21) with the first episode.  All the favorites returned; Huey, Riley, Granddad, and Uncle Ruckus.

Last night's episode, Pretty Boy Flizzy, mimics the struggles of  R&B singer Chris Brown and his legal issues. There is even a reference to the Chris Brown and Rihanna altercation. What were your thoughts about the episode? Stream the episode below and leave your thoughts.

Boondocks is Back
