George Zimmerman, who was found not guilty of second-degree murder after shooting Trayvon Martin dead last year, has been arrested on domestic violence charges in Seminole County, Fla.

George Zimmerman has been arrested in a domestic dispute involving his girlfriend and booked in the Seminole County Jail, law enforcement said.
He was arrested at about 1 p.m. Monday at his girlfriend's home on Topfield Court in Apopka following a 911 call. Neighbors told WESH 2 News that they didn't know the woman was dating Zimmerman, and they thought the man might have been an undercover cop because he walked around like an officer.
Zimmerman will be held in jail until his first appearance in front of a judge, which will take place within 24 hours after his arrest. George Zimmerman’s girlfriend claims he pointed a shotgun at her during an argument. He was charged with domestic aggravated assault with a weapon. He’s due in court this afternoon.
