After countless tweets and Facebook post, the #Free Boosie hashtag has worked. The Louisiana rapper Lil Boosie is finally coming in a few weeks. Lil Boosie will be released from prison on February 13, 2014.
Initially reports were Boosie, real name Torrence Hatch, was going to be freed sometime in August of this year. However, the date was pushed upafter he completed a substance abuse class and because of his good behavior. While in the Louisiana State Penetintary, Boosie also got his GED. Hopefully will turn this negative situation into a positive one. In 2009 Boosie was incarcerated for marijuana possession and a parole violation.
While on lock Boosie has written 600 songs. Word in the wind Boosie is already planning to tour for the "late spring, early summer".
